How We Got Started

Claire is a physiotherapist with over 28 years of experience working across the NHS and independent sector. I’m passionate about helping people recover, regain confidence, and get back to doing the things they enjoy most.

After many years working in hospitals, care homes, and the community, she began to see how much more comfortable and confident people felt when they could receive physiotherapy in their own homes. For many, travelling to appointments after illness, surgery, or while living with long-term conditions was challenging, and progress often came more quickly when therapy took place in familiar surroundings. This insight inspired her to establish Norwich Home Physiotherapy, with the aim of bringing expert, evidence-based care directly to people where they feel most at ease. She offers flexible, personalised support designed to fit around real life. Since then, it has been incredibly rewarding to help people regain strength, independence, and confidence without the added stress of travelling to clinics. Every session is designed to make recovery positive, achievable, and centred on what matters most to each individual.

Hello, I’m Claire — a physiotherapist with over 28 years of experience working across the NHS and independent sector. I’m passionate about helping people recover, regain confidence, and get back to doing the things they enjoy most.

My career has taken me from busy hospital wards, supporting patients in elderly care, orthopaedic surgery, and respiratory recovery, to community and residential settings for people with complex neurological needs. I’ve also gained valuable experience in musculoskeletal therapy, general surgery, and gynaecology.

I especially enjoy working with older adults, helping them stay independent, move more easily, and feel confident in their own homes. My approach is relaxed, flexible, and focused on what matters most to you. Whether you’re recovering from illness or surgery, managing a long-term condition, or simply wanting to stay steady on your feet, I tailor each session to your goals, making rehabilitation positive, enjoyable, and achievable.

I love watching people grow stronger, move more freely, and surprise themselves with what they can do. Those moments are exactly why I love what I do.

Outside of my role as a physiotherapist, I like spending time with my family, getting outdoors with my dog, and trying out new recipes in the kitchen, with mixed results!
